Brand Identity, Logo, Website


The client is a blog writer and instructor for high school and prep school students. The creative brand is approachable and fun. The dash in the logo is a nod to the affordable website domain: fathom-science.com

I created this website for a writer with a passion for teaching others about science, technology, and medicine in a language anyone can understand. 

The client had a blog site and was familiar with WordPress. We secured a new domain, and I created the newly branded website beyond just the blog. The new website became more engaging with public speaking, interviews, and my client's background.

Force for Change Conference

Force for Change was a women's business and networking conference held at the Marriott Newark Airport in NJ. The objective of the brand was to evoke a feeling of introspective strength and excitement.


I provided strategic concepts, art direction, and design for all conference materials and the online event application.  I worked with the strategic team, including PR, university, politics, news, finance, technical, and business representatives. Chaka Khan was one of the speakers at this conference. She has several businesses besides being a singer/songwriter in entertainment. She was the highlight feature and added a little sex appeal to this conference for women in business. Chaka took the Force event to a new level.

Posters, banners, programs, print ads, presentations, social media and digital graphics. Magazines and Newpapers.


The LWE Award Ceremony design and themes evoke a feeling of empowerment for the businesswomen leaders that have reached a milestone in their career. 

The evening recognition events are at the Liberty House overlooking lower Manhattan across the Hudson River.


Every year I have designed an exciting new look for these events; each logo wordmark for the theme is combined with the illustrative style and used consistently on all the marketing materials.

I am a strategic partner in the process, from planning to implementation and presentation design in support of these events.


Additionally, I create an LWE feature section for either NJ Monthly Magazine or NJBIZ print and digital newspapers. We include these themes and feature the winners. 

I usually provide three design options for the client to choose from, and in many cases, they like them all and decide to use each theme for different events. In this case, the Transforming Tomorrow Together theme was used for Leading Women Entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs.

The client team wanted a stronger look for the brand and supplied some outstanding photography. I came up with the bold one-word headlines and worked the photos and services into the layout in various ways.  The trade magazines have slightly different audiences, and we alternate the images rather than the messaging.

We strive to keep things fresh with yearly updates to the branded Ads. This year's Campaign brought the client's areas of expertise to the forefront. 

The strategic direction for this design targets the audience: site work and paving. Additionally, I design all Ads to allow for a congratulatory message with Voller's partners in business.

MSD Ophthalmology Exhibit Environment

Working with marketing, the agency, and the exhibit house, I managed the Glaucoma exhibit booth's creative process and art directed the glaucoma video. The booth combined the legacy product Cosopt with the new launch of Saflutan and Cosopt PF. Additionally, I designed the Cosopt backlit panels and wall graphics.

Working closely with the manufacturing division, I designed the packaging and managed the creative for Zioptan and Cosopt PF. The photos are of the single dose packaging for consumers. There are many details that accompany the packaging for the pharmacy, right down to the color of the bottle cap.
